Mac Helms

The McCall's found a nice water filtration system online that they purchased, but couldn't find a local plumber who was willing to install the customer supplied system. They were surprised when Brandy explained that we install other systems quite frequently, and that we could send a technician out to provide them a free quote to install it along with a consultation to answer any questions they may have. Mac went over the system they purchased with them and verified that it would be sufficient for their filtered water needs. Mac provided a fair and  accurate price to install, and even gave a 2 year parts and labor warranty on the installation portion of the project so they would have piece of mind that they could count on Helms Plumbing and Drains should problems come up with the sytem. In the end, the customer didnt buy one of our systmes, but they did get a filter capable of providing safe, clean, and contaminant free water throughout their entire home for years to come.

Mr Goude noticed a wet spot on his laundery room ceiling after a shower in the upstairs bathroom above it. Brandy scheduled Mac to go out the same day. Mac opened a small discovery hole in the ceiling to inspect and identify the source of the leak. He found a failed connection on the drain pipe that was the culprit, made the necessary repair, and tested his work. No further leaks were detected.

Mac and Stephen were able to quickly locate the drain issues using our camera and locator. The guys used our electric drain equipment to clear out the clog and then made the necessary repair to prevent future problems.

This customer was helping her mom sell her home and some minor plumbing issues came up on the inspection report. Brandy got her on our schedule when it was convenient for them. Mac was able to replace a few bad cartridges in the tub valves and tighten down a loose faucet in the kitchen so that they could close out the sale of the home.

When Matt's tenant alerted him that one their toilets were leaking around the base he reached out to us. We were able to get him on the schedule and had our technician Mac onsite a few hours later. Mac quickly determined that both toilets hadn't had new seals in a long time. He communicated this back to Matt with repair options and the cost before getting to work. Once Matt approved the pricing, Mac completed 2 pull, seal, and resets leaving both toilets securely bolted to the floor with new wax seal, bolts, and fresh caulking around the base for easier cleaning.Add a Note
