I rate Helms Plumbing at five stars because I received a level of service that I thought was extinct in the 21st Century. Our shower ball valve broke on Sunday and my wife and dreaded calling a plumber on Monday morning. Our apprehension was due to our experiences with plumbers and other service people, over the past few years. As seniors, we missed the attention to customer service that has seemed to pass the way of the Dinosaurs'. My wife and I had been so dissatisfied with our last plumber we decided for me to check the rating companies online and go with a new one. Finding Helms Plumbing high rating on every site I decided on Helms. My wife called Helms at 10 am and was impressed professional phone educate she received in setting the same day 1 pm appointment. The plumber arrived exactly at 1 pm, which in itself was surprising and he was friendly, courteous, and professional. He examined the problem and agreed it was the ball valve. He then went directly to his well-stocked van and brought in parts and quickly and cleanly rebuilt the valve. He was done cleaned up and pulling out of our drive by 3 pm. My wife and I were amazed. We didn't have the normal two-day wait as the make back with parts or massive clean-up we normally have. We hope we never have a plumbing problem again but that is unrealistic but good to know we now have a Helms to call when we do. Ron Dallas, NC

I had a great experience with Chris with Helms Plumbing. Our tankless water heater broke. Chris was the third person I spoke to about replacing it with a new one. He was by far the most affordable and very professional. He took care of our needs in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend him for any of your needs. I have already given his number out to several family members and friends.
