Chris was wonderful! I had a water pressure issue. Reached out and within a few days he came to my home. He diagnosed the problem and was honest on the scope of repair. These guys found the issue quickly, communicated well in every step and stayed after dark until the job was done. Accessed my main header to clear a pretty nasty clog after i tried everything i could, exhausting all i know to do. This is how service business should be done and is a rarity these days. I also noticed Chris responds even to all negative reviews and either sets the record straight, or goes the extra mile and fixes the issue. These are the folks you want to call when you want a fairly price fixed and be sure it will get done correctly and quickly.

This is 2nd time I have used Helms Plumbing and Drains, the whole experience was great from scheduling to repair. Chris responded quickly in getting me on the calendar. What a great experience considering no one wants to have an emergency plumbing repair! I called Chris based on a previous contact I had at my sister’s house. My sister needed someone to come out to look at a ceiling leak she had from her upstairs plumbing and Chris Sr came out. He was so kind and helpful that 3 years later when my water pressure dropped to ZERO out of the blue, I called back and had Chris’ son respond to fix my water pressure regulator without a hitch! He instantly knew my issue and made the repair seamlessly. I cannot express how impressed I was with this business and you can tell customer service and satisfaction is their priority. Chris Sr—thanks for making a lasting impression and for raising your son to follow in your footsteps! I highly recommend this family business and the big sticker is mounted on my wall so I always have the number ready for referrals!!!

There was a little gas leak from my water heater that I purchased from Chris Helms. I called Chris Helms & he had his Technician repair the leak. The part that was leaking was not installed by his Company. It was an original piping. The Technician repaired anyway FREE of charge!! Thank you Chris Helms & Company for repairing the gas leak that was not a part of ur installation.

Not all plumbers are created equal! I have so many wonderful things to say about Chris Helms, it is difficult to know where to start. First and foremost, if you are in need of plumbing service (small and large jobs)....there is no need to look any further. Chris has got you covered. I met Chris while he was working with a market leader plumbing company in Charlotte. From the moment I met Chris, I knew that he was someone I wanted to do business with. He had neat appearance, he listened without interruption, he made suggestions, and offered solution. Chris has a patient way about him that made me feel comfortable. I never once felt like he was trying to push a hard sale on me. In 2015, Chris helped me identify a major plumbing issue where the city did an improper repair after some Water Main work. What could have been a nightmare turned out to be a miracle. I contacted the city and Chris made a second trip out to my house the following day to show the city where the issue was. He communicated really well with the utility management and workers. Chris' detection of this problem prompted the city to fix the issue from their end which saved me a great deal of money. In 2016, I had Chris back to my home to discuss some issues with my 1969 Cast Iron main sewer line. Chris scoped my line and identified a couple of issues. Within 24 hours, we had spoken about repair options and he also sent 2 written estimates .... one for repair and one for replacement. After I gave Chris the green light on replacement.....he coordinated a bobcat excavation crew to arrive the next day to begin work. Chris did a major overhaul on my main sewer line in just a matter of 3 hours or so. I stuck around to watch the majority of the work....and I must say that Chris worked with total confidence. He was explaining as he worked. It was quite educational. I put total faith in Chris Helms. I have recommended his work to a few of my own clients. They are just as thrilled as I am. In my opinion, you can't put a price tag on "trustworthy" or "integrity". I've got Chris in my phone directory. While, I hope I never need his services again......I know that if I do, he will do his best to take care of me. Give Chris a call, you will be glad you did.

My 86 year old friend called me after arriving home from an out of town trip to a water leak. It was almost midnight so we had to do what we could til morning. I spent the night wringing out towels and dumping water from the leak in the supply line til 8am when I called Helms Plumbing. Chris and his family have recently moved into our neighborhood and I see his truck all the time. He was my first call and after explaining the situation, he assured me he would have his people out within an hour! His son and partner came out and quickly diagnosed the issue after thoroughly checking all possible culprits. A quick trip to get the supplies and my friend was back in business! The initial estimate was very reasonable considering the rapid response time, but when the total was given, it was nearly $100 less than initially thought! Chris and the other technician were very courteous, professional, and were knowledgeable and efficient. They treated me and my 86 year old friend with the utmost respect and insisted on sweeping up the dirt that was tracked into the kitchen. These young men turned a very long night and messy morning around in a matter of 2 hours! I would highly recommend Helms Plumbing and would not hesitate to call them for any plumbing needs….fingers crossed, we won’t need them! A++ service!

I highly recommend this company. Chris came out on a Saturday over Labor Day weekend and assessed a leak in my elderly mother's plumbing from her well to her house. He assessed the situation and told me he would be back on that Tuesday. He came out with all the equipment and fixed her leak quickly. These are great people to work with.

I've been doing business with Chris Helms for many years. He was working for another company at the time we met I really liked him. He's an honest man of good character. His tempermant is calm and he is a good listener. Chris and his team are reliable, well presented, and punctual. Super professional company. His staff looks clean and professional....which is a HUGE PLUS. At my old home, Chris completely restructured the entire drainage system underneath my home to the street. Since then, we moved and built a new home. Chris and his team came to install a new hot water recirculator system and a home water filtration system. The craftsman of their work is impeccable and he provides service and parts warranties that are fair and common to the trade. A business like Chris's is all about building relationships. now that I've met 3 of his other workers, I would feel comfortable with any of them coming back to my home for more work. All in all.... (while I hope I never "need" to have a plumber back to the new home)..... I would not ever hesitate to call on Chris and his team.

We had a broken kitchen faucet and outside faucet replaced by Chris. Not only was the service outstanding but he came the next day after we called. The faucet was a Delta and Chris told us to contact them first. Great advice! Delta sent a replacement free of charge. Helms Plumbing was called in the middle of the day to "bail me out" with a leak in the wall. They fit me in there schedule Clear Across Town (counties) and I was the last stop for John. It was hot in the attic, last job of the day, pretty far from his home base and you would never know it by his attitude. Would highly recommend Chris and his team of professionals. My mom's drain was stopped up and it gave Chris a fit, but he had more patience than I would have had. Katies kitchen faucet wouldnt turn off after she used it Saturday morning. She tried turning the valves under the cabinet off, but had no luck there either. Brandy received her call, and got Chris scheduled to go out A.S.A.P. He finished the call he was at and arrived onsite in about an hoiur. chris changed out the failed shut off valves under the sink, nand helped her find the correct parts for her kitchen faucet online so she could order them. He made another trip when her parts came in to repair her faucet and test. Everything is working properly now.

The Latchana family was on their way out Friday evening when he realized that the last flush in their powder room toilet hadn't gone down. He reached out and scheduled an appointment for the following morning. Our technician Chris arrived at the scheduled time, accessed the problem, and was able to clear the toilet with an auger. Apparently, the head from one of those toilet bowl cleaner wands had gotten lodged in the trap way. A couple more test flushes ensured that everything would drain properly, and Chris was on his way.
